New Horizons
It was launched by NASA nine-and-a-half years ago.
Just recently, it reached faraway Pluto.
The probe made its trek across the distant solar system.
Pluto is out very far where the sun's light is so dim.
The vehicle transmitted to earth information galore.
There is so much we now know that we didn't know before.
With so much this space traveler was able to find,
New Horizons truly was a great leap for mankind.
