New Hope
Your compassion has opened up my heart
You are the moonlight shining on my trail
You are clarity when I fall apart
You do not mind that I am soft and frail
I listen to the passion in your voice
Your anecdotes are always full of soul
Your conviction helps me make the right choice
You give back certainty that darkness stole
I look forward to our time together
We will build an indestructible base
I know any downpour we will weather
You will be my darling; my happy place
For you will be my greatest endeavor
And I will always be your forever
