New Day
Sunshine
Brought in by rainbows
Ushered through the clouds
Skies Clear
Brighten from grey
To various shades of blue
Light Rushes
Into the windows
And beyond the blinds
Early Morning
Eyes open slowly
Squinting, then open wide
A Smile
Creeps across your face
As you turn towards me
A Kiss
A cuddle wakes me
From a lingering dream
Together
We get up to begin
A new day
A Day Full Of
Hopes, dreams,
And love.
You Are My Muse,
My inspiration,
My All.
