'new Dawn'

sounds of ecstasy
whilst wings flutter
undisturbed
a new dawn welcomed
in nature’s distinctive way
a thankful prayer uttered

I see from the comments that you have secured a win with this delightful poem, Wilma. Congratulations to you my friend. For lunch today miss Wilma, I recommend the delicious chicken salad sandwich with fresh tomato slices and lettuce laced lightly with ground pepper on freshly baked five grain bread . For your imbibing ploeasure you may choose from the assortments of liquid refresnments you have in the fully stocked shelves of your imaginatrion.. but please, use the champagne glass with which to consume whatever delightful drink you may choose. ... ME? I'm havin' a hot dog ..... :-D have a great day!

....and the rocks will cry out too, Wilma! I love how creation worships Him even if we forget too,..... I read your senryus and there is definately a gift to writing in this form...what I thot was a great senryu for me pales in comparison to anything you have concocted. My husband and I in our jammies hop in the truck and go chasing these gorgeous dawns with our fancy cameras...coffee, cameras, and a gorgeous dawn like this one is a fantastic morning date!!!
