New Year rings it's bell with sheer
Ebullience as the Phoenix that is America regrows
Wings charred off by heat of chaos and division
Bright prospects shine again on the horizon
Earth, come this spring will be new and
Green again; the flowers of change will bloom!
Indigo moods continue to lift, and sad eyes
Now gleam, at long last. Hallelujah! God is good.
Now America excitedly drums her timpani.
It's all coming up red roses across the
Nation, and may the roses bloom all year long!
God, please shine your light on all of humanity
Save us from any engulfing abyss. Amen.
