Never Stop the Dance

There is a time to dance. A time not to dance. I remember when we danced. Now I have no desire to dance. Nor for you to dance for me. You've danced all your life. Danced night and day. Different styles of dance Dance is all that you breathe. You are the queen of dance. I know no one will dance like you. No one will know my dance like you. My feet will never forget our dance. There will be no last dance with me. Thank you for the memories of dance. Never regret your soul dancing. Simple Musing Silent One 21/11/2019

Watching others dance, is a natural delight, and the previous comments say it all. This is a poet's delightful dance with word meanings as muse-ical partner- Love the "playful" play on words! Aqua M. (We should all dance the night away!)

I liked the way you danced with your very words! Sometimes, there is so much to say and words couldn't keep up with the inner rhythm.. music and dancing would take over.. beautiful and unique.. Regards and blessings, Silent One.

I had a friend who was a professional ballet dancer. He fell doing a pirouette. That was the end of his career, sad when someone has to stop dancing. Still as you say...never regret your Soul dancing. Nice write....Maria Hugs

Hi SO This poem is sensitive and feeling towards the one you have danced with you, but that is history now, you don't want the dancing anymore, maybe she will continue, but you have no desire left to dance with her. Maybe she will dance with someone else and you and your soul with someone else but definitely no longer together! Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

unless it's a slow dance, or a lover's dance i never cared to learn..long story but anyway, this one left me pondering many thoughts...like a separation of lover's souls parting...they danced beautifully together, but now that they are apart there is no dance... either way, beautifully penned my friend... hugs
