Never Left Me
From the beginning of my younger of life, you were always by my side. You helped me chase the monsters out my room, and help heal me from the pain I consumed. You were and are that one constant in my life, your true sacrifice. Lord you uplift me when I am down, my soul feeling empty sometimes from those I'm around. You made me get up when the fight was tough. You allowed me to stand five toe down underneath uneven ground. My solider in you I could not physically see but you were always with me. You should have left my side a trillion times, but you didn't, a promise kept, forgiven. Lord I thank you for these humbled words to say on this day. My body beaten and torn from life, but today, spiritually I'm alright. I thank you Lord for being with me in my darkest of hours, Lord your will, Lord your POWER.
