You don’t look anything like Frederic, Tom. Although you are both gentleman. Not sure if Frederick is partial to having his name condensed. Your Crystalline is a winner.

Tom, this is a valuable poem. It's something we can try on and see how we would handle something like this if tragedy should strike. There's a lot to learn from each other, and you are a great teacher. Thanks so much for being here! Smiles!!

Thank you Phyllis, I'll put a note on the blog then take it down. When I googled it and saw the reference to poetry soup I knew there was only one Lindsay Laurie on here. Still I'm happy he's still with us. Tom

Tom, I'm so glad to see you posting here again. It adds a much-needed reason to sign in nowadays. Whether your lines are melancholy shorties or Milton Creek Saga length, you are PS elite, and you never promote your past poems. Humble... that's what you are.

Hello Tom, Even in just those two lines, you can feel the weight you’re carrying, not in a dramatic way, but in that stripped-down, matter-of-fact tone that comes when someone has lived through the hard part already. Winter Blessings, Tom, Daniel
