''Never Finished''

Fragments And Crumbs Of Life,All The Little Pieces...John Ruskin...1853

Heartache inside my scattered soul.
Memories rests on the dawn of day.
Brace these silk tears.
As flesh has perished.
Moms' smile has vanished.
My arms left empty.
Still my lavished love remains full.

I also am sorry for your lost, i liked the way you took your feelings and put them into this poem is what i met in my comment. you never get over losing your mother i'm still hurting over losing my mom in 1997 but it helps to write about it.

Dear Kacey, your love for your mom will always be with you. Mine passed decades ago and the love still lingers. I'm not familiar with this contest, but really like your poem. It stands so well on its own. Love, Carolyn
