Never Fade
We will not fade away like vapor in the wind
We will not give in, up, or out, but surely win
Giving no less than our very best
Let adversaries and oppositions charge
We shall widen our stretch and our reach enlarge
Giving no less than our very best
Our descendants shall beam with pride
Because we never bowed to rising tides
Giving no less than our best
We refused to stall in our great crusades
With love and patience, we tried to persuade
Preaching and teaching, hoping and praying
Giving no less than our best
We kept giving no less than our best
We kept focus upon our God-given quest
We sought no fame and had little rest
But never ceasing, ever reaching
Ever gaining and increasing
Giving no less than our best
Let the future speak well of us
Let them say we did not fade into the dust
That we stood for the right and what was Just
That with our backs against the wall, we still stood tall
That we were not a generation of whiners, but warriors
And always gave no less than our very best
