Never Came Back

My eyes burn. The sun shines bright And the moon glows but not for me. You never came back. Let the rain wash over me. Turn off the sun. Turn the sky black. You never came back. Death has claimed you and my life too. So let it rain and thunder. Let the lightening crack. You never came back. You were finally free to be with me Until fate stepped in and dealt its blow, And now I know You'll never come back, Never ever, ever come back. Moving and beautiful ... The moaning refrain is forceful ... emotion very well expressed ...
