Neon Lights - Cl

The city lights of neon flash
To dull sounds of the traffic flow
 Upon the sidewalks footsteps crash
As people bustle to and fro

A city that never moves slow
For time is money, in cold cash
Getting caught in its neon glow
They seem to be in a mad dash

So thankful that I live in the Country. No rush of such moments. Your thoughts take me there, in the hustle and bustle of a busy city street. This is so beautifully written and presented. ~ Brandy

Wonder if your are describing New York City--I see the lights and hear the footsteps--especially if dashing to catch the train home. All the best, Joseph.

Thank you Vijay, I was thinking of NY when I wrote it, I was going to mention the train too but my muse said otherwise.
