Needles and Tubes
So far from the truth we now tread,
So far that we now stand clearly out of sight.
If we could see, would it change anything?
It is almost to late to take another path.
Feel it building, surging, taking you home,
Home, where once free you roamed.
Let the sweet melody softly carry you away,
Do not resist, give in fully to the tempting pull.
Feel totally at one with one, the same with others,
Understand every story is deeper than you can tell.
Make sure you avoid the mistake of judging them,
Always some will be higher, others lower.
Mankind is dying, but at what cause?
I will tell, that it is at his hand to boredom.
What is now classed paramount has no substance,
Not here on earth or ever-after will they bring joy.
Castaway man made shackles for they inhibit,
Break free your mind with all that is eternal.
Be your own, no one can take that away,
What is born will go with you when death, do you part.
Be prepared, for this is real loneliness,
What will follow will end, stray jealous thought.
Needles and tubes will light our new day,
Memory will be but itself a memory.
