Nectar Bird

Nectar bird sat on a tree
searching, thinking all day;
“the trees are dry
bushes are friendly to fire
bees sting and kick me away
what shall I do”, he thought

Deep in thought,
he saw something
a bright juicy flower-
alone hidden under leaves

He flew immediately
he sucked the nectar
again, again and gain
and he fell asleep

Hungry eagle saw him
it flew down, grabbed him
and the juicy nectar together
for supper that day!

Cursing the flower
cursing the eagle
nectar bird wept
as he protested bitterly
the forced flight
to land of no moons
no suns, no stars
