Neath Azure Blue Sky

For a while each day I drift away to a place inside my head The sun shines down on a sea so blue For my darling I am there with you And as we stroll along the sand two lovers forever hand in hand You and I neath azure blue sky Waves gently dancing ~ White horses prancing As slowly on her crests she takes us to the legendary, mystical Isle of Atlantis To where our spirits are ~ both you and I in Shangri-La... Greetings Ann! A lovely poem which I hope wins first place. Many of us get sucked into the vortex of unhappy news. Time to unplug from the source, "tough times never last but tough people do". Churchill was so right.."we have nothing to fear but fear itself" Rainbow wishes! Panagiota xx

I love where to say, "For a while each day I drift away To a place inside my head." That is one way to make the time/day pass by. Dreamers can come up with new ideas. I love the sand/beach. Wish I was there now. Have a wonderful day........

So glad my words uplifted you dear Jan. We are in lock down here and really missing my strolls, but thankfully we are keeping safe and well in this surreal time. Take good care both of you and I am pleased that your son has returned to you. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

A nice pen indeed Ann, been missing you but understand as I had lack of muse a month ago but seems to have returned. Hope you're well and safe in these troubled times, indeed not easy to keep positive but we remember the Lord is in control no matter how it may look. Look up this verse, Isaiah 26: 20, it's so apt for our present times. Blessings always, Gordon

Thanks Gordon for your lovely comments and I hope you are both ok and keeping safe dear friends. I am not going out at all now as I feel if we all adhere to the advice then hopefully things will eventually get back to normal, although I really miss my strolls along the prom, I can still see the sea from my balconies, so I am very lucky. Thanks for your support Gordon. With kindest thoughts Ann xx
