Near Home
As travel abroad
distances in miles are long
highways at times are busy
the long roads ahead
a destination near home
with God never alone
a place to the desired destination
a place to call home
traveling so far in the days, amazed
as the night approach with no delays
a place like home once again
the battles fought to win
being on your own
a survival mode
a fresh newer beginning
where the tougher times ending.
