Naughty, Naughty
Good morning Bushy Tail
How are you today?
I sure did miss you
When I was away.
Even now that I've returned
I still don't get the chance
To enjoy all you antics
Because of my darned back.
I understand you guys
Must of missed me too
I heard of all the damage
The neighbors blamed on you.
You not only ate their seeds
And chased the birds away
But chewed up their bird feeder
In your greed one day.
And now the four of you
As innocent as can be
Try to entertain me
Chasing up and down the trees.
And you think your antics
Will erase from my mind
All the naughty things you did,
Sorry I'm not blind.
But maybe if you'd apologize
And pretend to ask remission
Maybe Claudine would let you guys
Visit on occasions.
I’ll not make a promise
But leave her birds alone
Don’t chew up the feeder
And move yourselves back home.
I’ll hopefully be better soon
And once more care for you
Until that happens watch yourselves
Or take a rocket to the moon.
