Natures Wonder
I feel the air but I do not see it
I feel the sun’s rays holding me
but I cannot see them.
I can see the effects of the powerful winds
I can feel the mark of the rays
but I cannot touch them.
I can see the waves that rush upon the shore
I can hear the wind gusting past me
but I cannot gather all that there is
I see the mountains reaching beyond the clouds
I see the double rainbow that brings good luck
but I cannot reach them
thunder and lightning I see and feel
rain and snow cleanses and chills my bones
but I cannot see their port of origin.
Nature retains and conceals its power over mankind
preserving its vitality to avoid being extinguished
Nature began before us and will proceed after.
without nature there would not be an understanding
of existence that stems from its primordial cornerstones.
Natures power is unfathomable and a phenomenal
aspect of life that is becomes a wonder in itself
but we can’t touch it
