Nature's Waltz

Fall's
                                                      palette
                                                clothes summer
                                              leaves with golden
                                            hues. Melodic breeze
                                               invites exquisitely
                                          frocked foliage to a waltz.
Whirling and twirling, leaves dance in
                                      the air, gradually drifting down...
down... down... carpeting the earth with beauty.

Congratulations on the win, loved the poem, you've really captured the floating leaves well, was less keen on the broken lines just to fit the form, but still a very nice piece.

Lucky me! I am the first to preview this gorgeous autumn write of yours. This is the nicest imagery...the wind inviting the leaves to a waltz...Getting wrapped up in nature is such a blessed place to be. Brian will certainly do a twirl over this one!! Congrats on an awesome entry, Kim. Gwendolen
