Nature's Splendor

The stream murmurs as it flows on plateau
through the draping emerald forest opulent,
splashes on the wavy contours of lowland
in flicking cascades like swan flock in flight.

It meanders on jagged swathe clad in ferns,
sprinkling with exuberance splattering pearls.
It glides sighing through the drizzle of silence,
wafts in smooth whisper of the rippling air.

Flying over crystal waters of the bubbling flow,
the returning robins chirp the springtime song.
As in the boughs of trees the new leaves rustle,
graceful butterflies flitter around the flowers.

The shining night sky above silhouette canopy,
wears the bejwelled crown of twinkling stars,
silver tinsels trickle through moonbeam film,
in a trance I’m charmed by nature’s splendor.

This is beautiful! I love poems like this because they are somehow able to transport me into another place and season. It is autumn where i live but for a moment it felt like spring again.
