Nature's Rhapsody

Listen to the geese honking overhead, or popping pistol shrimp on the seabed. And the haunting, eerie call of a loon: sounds not made by Man, but Nature instead. Nature's noisy cacophony resounds; a subtle mix of ubiquitous sounds. And as this chorus of sounds soothes my soul, my appreciation of life abounds. The croak of a frog or buzz of a bee; subconsciously imbues my soul with glee. It's the sound of the extraordinary: wherein the voice of Gaia speaks to me. The pitter-patter of raindrops falling; a moth flapping its wings, or crabs crawling. All contribute to Nature's rhapsody, and my muse finds Her music enthralling.

Creative work penned in this contest entry. Reads like a good contender to me. Way to go. I love the sounds of nature but not the sound of a fly, gnat, or mosquito. LOL..Sara
