Nature's Rhapsody

Listen to the geese honking overhead;
the pop of pistol shrimp on the seabed.
And the haunting, eerie call of a loon;
sounds not of Man but of Nature instead.
Nature's noisy cacophony resounds;
a subtle mix of ubiquitous sounds.
And as this chorus of sounds soothes my soul,
my appreciation of life abounds.
The croak of a frog or buzz of a bee;
subconsciously imbues my soul with glee.
For it's the sound of extraordinary;
wherein the voice of Gaia speaks to me.
The pitter-patter of raindrops falling;
a moth flapping wings, or a crab crawling.
All contribute to Nature's rhapsody;
and my muse finds Her music enthralling.
