Nature's Invitation
"Time in nature soothes my soul's lovely wild."
- Angie-Weiland Crosby
Trees mirrored in the clear lake water
stand tall against the backdrop of mountains,
Clouds have touched their summits,
even as a sunburnt peak peeks through,
With a golden glow, sunrays shimmer
over the sheen of still water,
Green shrubs make way for a dense forest behind them,
A cuckoo calls out somewhere, as if in invitation,
even as other birds join in with their varied arias,
Morning greetings can't be sweeter than this,
The day is lovely, and jade shadows beckon,
Would you join me for a walk in the woods...?
