Nature's Highlights
I traveled on the road today
Wind whistled, as the miles passed
Gray clouds hugged the mountains my way
As deep thoughts flew on by so fast
Fog kept the mountain top hidden
The trees were still, before the storm
Some sights seemed to be forbidden
Nature’s highlights in a rare form
Seasons change while hurricanes loom
Cool and warm air swirl together
Slowly, the mind makes some new room
As thoughts turn light as a feather
I passed views I enjoy to see
I thought about the priceless things
All there is created to be
Treasured as beauty spreads its wings
