A loving gentle touch,
with a fierceness to protect.
As is His great design,
for all creatures, great and small.

to give of one's own life.
For, all creatures great and small,
it is what we have in common.
To give of one's own life,
it is ingrained upon our souls.
It is what we have in common,
that nature shares with us.
It is ingrained upon our souls,
as is His great design,
that nature shares with us,
a loving, gentle touch.
