Now that Winter has finally passed,
let us celebrate the birth of Spring.
And laugh as butterflies ride the wind,
signaling songbirds to sweetly sing.
Spring is Nature's favorite daughter,
no other season is quite as fair.
And instead of Winter's wretched winds,
Spring exhales balmy breaths of fresh air.
Inspiring awe within heart and soul,
Spring creates exquisite color schemes.
And inking the leaves on the trees green,
She rejuvenates Fall's weathered dreams.
As Spring's sweet smells evoke nostalgia,
fragmented fantasies flex the truth.
And tepid breezes, brisk and sassy
blow towards memories forged in youth.
