Nature Rebirths Spring
I love the beauty of a new spring day-
its early morning silence- but for birds
that tweet and flutter, flying with dry straw
or thread to line their beautiful new nests.
My hair, caressed by gentle morning breeze,
brings sense of freedom to my heart and soul;
so like the fathomless way wisps of green,
tall willows sway and dance for me this morn.
Beyond the dark of winter filled with gloom-
of sunless skies and landscapes gray and dry,
this springtime gift- its symbol of rebirth,
now leaves me breathless- thankful for my life.
