Nature is joyful

Nature is joyful, man is suicidal, Listen to the birds, or he’ll shoot himself in the head, Whether he respects the elephant or he will blow up the planet, Let him share the silence of the lakes or he will drown in his whisky. Whether he drags his feet on grass or agricultural paths, He cannot cross the border fixed for him by the blue sky, Man is suicidal, nature joyful, forever, The man must dance with the bison on the sacred earth, May he never forget that our sun is a rotating star, That rain falls from the clouds really, yes, but not love, Man must know his fears, like the egret Or the arrogant wildebeest, repeat it, to whoever wants to hear, Nature is joyful, man is suicidal.

Wow, glad I picked this one to read today. Funny I wrote about bison recently! I love how you contrast the sins of man and nature. I’m sure that I could just soak in this delightful reflection!! Fave. You are definitely one of my favorites on PS!

Nature can give us so much joy. When desperate, look into nature. Man's suicidal tendencies can be averted by turning into nature. Enjoyed your poem.

Yann, such profound penning. You are right, man is suicidal for sure, but we can see it. I really took this message, we need to change. Bravo for your piece. Love/María

Hello, Yann! Nice one there. I once believe that man always kill the things he love. If not, a failure to kill himself. Anyway, I like the first line of the poem...blissful day...hugo.
