Nature - A Divine Power
Though July hasn't yet made its way,
August brings summer's true display.
The sun blazes down in its fierce embrace,
Scorching with flames that leave no trace.
As if the sky spirals down to the ground,
Mirages dance on hills all around.
Between the heavens and the earth below,
Fleeing souls can't escape their woe.
Faces burned by the searing flame,
Wandering through the desert's claim.
For centuries, the earth has felt the fire,
Drawing in its blood is a silent choir.
Who can promise the weather won't change?
Who can assure that storms won't rearrange?
Nature - a testament to God's decree,
Bringing mankind to its knees in humility.
