Natural Landscape
An expanse of tall,
Evergreen trees
Wrapped around a
Sparkling and reflective lake,
Miniscule ripples settle upon
The surface of the water
And small bubbles rise up
From the little creatures below
The sound of buzzing
Permeates the air
From the tiny insects
Happily enjoying
Their wonderful home
The bushes and shrubs
Low to the ground,
Red and blue berries
Both subtle and shining
Within the green
Mammals grazing and
Consuming the liquid
Nectar of the Earth,
Peacefully meandering
On in the forest
And as the sun
Starts to set
From the sky above,
Everything quiets
Until the nocturnal
Animals come out
And liven up
The surroundings
Once more,
Forever a perfect
Cycle of where
Blissful ease
Is sustained
And all who stay
Never want
To leave again
