Natural Born Tryptophan

You act so mellow melatonin,
pure relax and laid back
Motorcycling thru life
with your golden hair blowing

You speak so leather serotonin,
smooth and REM sleep inducing
Resting in your Laz-e-Boy ... ambience: quiet demure —
disturbing the peace, you never got ticketed for

You’re a natural born Tryptophan
My eyes close
	        when your mouth open

I listen to you
when I wanna take a romantic daytime snooze
Dial your number
to go on a midnight lovers-only slumber cruise

You’re a natural born Tryptophan
The noise goes silent
	         when you start talking

Your voice is velvet magnesium,
sleepwalk, no talk it makes me wanna do
Whispering clean solar vocal energy,
beta waves of desire are streaming thru

Your audio is tranquil potassium,
serenity dressed in faded jeans
Muted decibel is your gift to the world,
speak low with love, my biker girl

You’re a natural born Tryptophan
My eyes close
	        when your mouth open

I listen to you
when I wanna afternoon delight dream
Dial your number
to ride on an evening erotic moonbeam

You’re a natural born Tryptophan
My heart beats silent
	         when you start talking

Your sensual speech pleasure my mind
                                    ... make it explode
You’re my favorite, exotic neurochemical

Good one Freddie! Isn't tryptophan in turkey? Probably why most everyone falls asleep after Thanksgiving meal, lol! P & L~Che :)

People could say that same thing about me ..sort of...I do have a habit of putting them to sleep when I talk. : ) Such a cool idea and theme for this wonderful poem my friend. I didn't feel even the slightest bit drowsy while reading this. Great job Freddie.

Ty, Chris. While what you say may be true about yourself, one thing I know is that your poems never put my eyes to sleep. Your poetry enchants the mind and sparks the romantic imagination in us PSoupers. Love always.
