Nativity Scene

As Christmas nears, may peace come over all
And a feeling of joyous tranquility so abound,
That we may all experience the carol’s sound
When our local singers come to deck the halls
And ringing their bells, they call faithfully,
Reminding us of a child born in old Bethlehem.
Ah, with nativity’s drama and a lilting hymn
Again telling the Christmas story so beautifully
Of lowly shepherds watching flocks by night
And wise men traveling from a far distant land
Of angelic notes sung to a heavenly band
With snow on the ground in the morning light.
The holy infant Christ-Child in a rude crib lay
Peacefully sleeping in a manger filled with hay.

That's quite a compliment. I love the Christmas carols so much, I sat down at my Clavinova and played some yesterday. Although I play piano and organ, unfortunately, I don't know how to write music! That's a big drawback to writing songs.
