Naps

Needing extra sleep 'cause
nodding off in day time.
Nestling on the couch or
nice and comfy on bed.
Not just for small children;
night owl activities
necessitate a nap.

This is me! I love naps.. I wish I didn't snore so I could be more discrete. Sleep is my superpower (also a TEDTalk). Why are there so few poems about naps? I think I might try one..a poem that is.. Thank you for the inspiration! Love and blessings, Kim.

Now a Days, I enjoy regular day naps. In retired life, no rush to go out. I go to bed at late night and wake up by 6-00 am. Day naps are mandatory for me.

I fall asleep when I read in the evening even when I've had a good night's sleep. I think it's old age creeping up on me. Naps are wonderful. Nice write. Beverly

At this stage of my life I take a one hour nap after the gym. athen I'm good until 12.30 pm. Start writing poetry again!!!

oh I can relate to this myself Kim - I sleep so badly since my hubby had his cancer surgery i sometimes have to have a nap in the day:-) hugs Jan xx

That was clever how you ended this one, Kim. I am a night owl but unfortunately I can't nap even when I try to. But I might go see a matinee and start falling asleep. So annoying! Wish I could nap like in the old days!! So when is the O contest coming. So glad you liked my Nuts!!!
