Naked Before God I Stand

Naked before God I stand,
my faults well known,
my heavy heart weighed,
my soul seeking His Light,
fearing the deepest dark....

Naked before God I live, and naked before God will I die.

May He cover my slight soul in His cloak of eternal love.

Thank you, Charlie-- I wrote it as a poem, but you're right, it is a prayer.
