Naive I Was
I was a naive little girl
Cause my sister got the looks
I was always in the side lines
Trying as best as I could
to fight for my spotlight
If she was being pure
I was being tainted
She wanted to wait until marriage
I had sex just to spite my parents
She was into her books
and since she already had looks
Guys flocked to her
I had to always work ten times harder
Never in the right direction
She was moving up
I was moving deeper into the cemetery range
Pretty soon after the drugs, sex, lies
I was too far gone to recognize
I feel dirty, I feel trashed, I feel compromised.
I feel sad.
