Mythology of Pegasus
With wings to soar, his hooves brought thunder
From the blood of Medusa* the winged horse was spawned
Pegasus, the mythical equine wonder
His father was said to be Poseidon
By the sword of Perseus* his mother, Medusa, lost her head
From the blood of Medusa the winged horse was spawned
His brother Chrysaor was also born as she bled
Pegasus was tamed using the magic bridle of Athena*
By the sword of Perseus his mother Medusa lost her head
He was ridden into battle to slay the Chimera*
Pegasus possessed wings to fly like a dove
Pegasus was tamed using the magic bridle of Athena
His constellation can be seen in the skies above
As he continues his celestial flight
Pegasus had wings to fly like a dove
You can see him on any given night
With wings to soar his hooves brought thunder
As he continues his celestial flight
Pegasus, the mythical equine wonder
