They say that it is true If a black cat crosses your path You are destined for grief And have reason to despair They promise me that If I walk underneath a ladder That has been set up I will definitely have bad luck They tell me there is no doubt If I break a mirror today Tomorrow bad luck will Be coming back my way All these myths that reveal Reasons to hide from the world Because bad luck is coming around Are all just myths that I don’t believe If I were to believe in all the sayings The myths that happen my way I’d be afraid to leave my house most days For fear of one of those myths getting me.

The ladder one has some sense to it; but the other ones--yea, pretty lame. Well said.

How true... Worse yet are the cornball nutty ideas we have!LOL. There are some real things to fear. Like if your city was on fire. Yikes. Remember the one" step on a crack, break your Mother's back" Many sayings have roots in famous Poetry. We don't even know it))))) Panagiota
