Thanks Brian! Yes, in these days of short attention spans, the Quietus with barely 9 lines is compact, accompanied with a rhythm and refrain emphasis. Happy you liked this new form

It's so cool to see your quietus form used in this contest. Have you asked for it to be included as a form here at Soup? I got only one of my four invented forms through, but I am pretty sure this one would be accepted. It's completely original! Congrats on your win with Mystical!

I think new poetry forms are on hold. Once it opens up, I’ll submit the Quietus for consideration. In any case, I enjoy the format, for the moment!

So beautiful! Love it. A shame, as you say, most of us thinking such things entirely mystical (out of worldly), and not forefront, readily available, yearning to be accepted for freely, immediately, effortlessly available to all -- with all else, the common everyday, agreed upon empirical of life, as illusion -- which it is.
