Mystery of the Night

Before I lay me down to sleep
I like to count the stars
Rather than count the sheep

The sky is pitch black
All stars are shining bright
I like to look at them
To look at them all night

The beauty of the sky
The mystery of the dark
The moon that looks at me
And smiling all the night

I see a shooting star
I quickly make my wish
I wish for you to come
And give me simple kiss

The sky is pitch black
And stars are shining more
I think of you all night
It’s you I’m waiting for
