Mystery

It is in the mystery of things,
structures holding hidden truths
at their core, riddles surrounding
the unknown and depths
as those concealed
beneath sun glazed seas.
It is in the breath of a morning mist
devoid of distance and detail,
a voice in the vast hush
of a star filled sky.
It needs room to imagine
and ground on which to play,
transcending mere fact
to enter into the enchantment
of the sublime, writing
its masterpiece across
the pages of space and time.

Mysteries are found in all the things you so engagingly mentioned. The seas will never keep up her mysteries, and I think those found in the breath of morning mist are meant to be whispered to those who listen closely enough to understand what it offers. Star filled skies... ahh what secrets they hold, always to remain in that mysterious realm. You've written of it quite succinctly on your page, Paul.
