My Written Word
Everything in my life that has passed this overbite
I just happened to write it down
With volumes of books filled to the crook
Of my every word, sight, and sound
From my Goo Goo, Ga Ga's as a baby
To my very last word of today
Every word ever uttered from me that you've heard
That I've had to pleasure to say
Of course there wouldn't be as much here to read
Stacked high upon the shelf
If overtime I didn't find
I so often repeat myself
So if you ever want to know what I said
Something mumbled or blown off on the wind
Perhaps misunderstood is in my thousands of books
Feel free to read it all for yourself
