My world

How good it is to live in Brazil!
Children running, playing… that is what life is.
But if I could,
I would change many things.
I would give a home to children who have none,
I would give money to those who cannot afford it,
I would fix many places in our land…
Who knows, maybe one day, right?
I wish that, in Brazil, everyone were happy.
There would be no sadness, anger, hatred, depression, envy,
nor anything bad.
Maybe my world would be much happier,
a much more colorful world.
Ah, if I could…
Everyone would eat lasagna with their family,
joyful and happy,
jumping and singing forever.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Yes, Brazil is a land of many juxtapositions, Geovanna ~ but then again all countries have wealth & poverty. I couldn’t get whether you are in Brazil or USA. Anyway, your first poem on this site is filled with good intentions. ThkU for sharing. Welcome to this Soup. Have a beautiful 2026., Ghairo
