Your poem is literally, physically beautiful. I'm sure I've never said that before. I was as moved by the poem structure as I was by the poem. It's truly like looking at a lit Xmas tree in the snow. The words also compelled me and spoke to my emotions. Very nice poetry ... CayCay

This poem lit a light in my heart, and then broke it simultaneously. Your poetic voice is visceral, unique, and beautiful. I was greatly saddened by the lines "I want to accept but never forget" and "how will this feeling melt my everything lost tomorrow" It just hit me right in the chest. You are so talented, wow. Thank you for commenting on my poem, and thus introducing me to you and your poems. Faved. And I do hope you heal, and meet this person in heaven. Be Blessed, Hiba <3

Reya I am glad it is fictional, and honestly it just goes to show how empathetic you are to have written the feeling of losing a loved one to death without having experienced it! Love your writing style (and the format).

Thank you so much! You have no idea how much this means to me. I do try to expand on my poetic voice. Thank you for commenting on my poems! I myself feel blessed to read yours. This poem is fiction, and I have not lost anyone, but I am glad that it is sentimental! Thank you for your kind words <3 glad you loved this.

Awhh, thank you so much! Separation does indeed become the state of people. That's what I wanted to portray, glad you said that :) thanks for the read!

Heh, I don't believe that poetry can be "wrong." Even as the writer, I leave people to interpret my piece! I actually like it when they bring their own meaning to my work; makes me realize how much power poetry brings.

Great poets cast lines that draw many fish with various mentalities. So I am wrong and you are right as the writer but the poem can be like a mirror. So you have inspired growth and introspection! Thanks dear poet!

aww, you're so sweet! I never thought about this piece that way. I wrote it with the intention of talking about the loss of a loved one; however, you've opened my eyes to a whole new meaning! Time to analyze my own poem, lmao (p.s. thank you for the follow! I followed you back, I'd love to see more of your amazing work!)
