My Walmart Moment

my empty car idles as I shop. . . Why aren’t my keys with me? (This happened to me this year on Black Friday. Lucky for me, I had not locked the car!!) For Richard Lamoureux's QuestionKu Poetry Contest

Wife and I had a moment where we misplaced our car keys in Walmart. 2 hours later it was return to us. Now on we keep the keys real close to us.

I guess retirement has kept me busier than I thought. I enjoyed the poem though. I had a friend in college that left his car idling in the parking lot of the library for an hour an a half before he remembered it. It was still running! We went to school at a pretty laid back place and not a soul touched it. Try that nowadays!! Thanks for checking in. I'll try to write a bit when I can. Thanks, RAY

That much of a hurry to get the bargins at the stores ha ha. Lucky you did not lock the doors but it can happen to any of us. Did not go out that day but our sales are crappy up here so not really worth going out for. love phyl

in a rush to buy all the things you can get before everyone else..? lol that's understandable.but sadly ): at least you noticed.. haha, i was joking about what i said on your christmas poem. sorry maybe i shouldn't joke around on here xD and actually, that poem i wrote was meant for one guy, your comment made me think about it..it does sound kind of bad..i think i'll change it to "A Guy Friend" instead..so it won't send out the wrong idea.~Always&Forever Lynette

You are hysterical!!! That sounds like something I would do. Hopefully, you had it in "park". Just kidding. Thanks for reading all my poems and your gracious comments. I souped you one last time I promise....I'm obsessing. You're so kind to me. Hugs, Holly

At least you knew where the car was parked! Thanks for your comment. I think every one of us obsesses about something. Otherwise, the world would be too calm. Also, you must live in a nice neighborhood. Here in NY, the car might have vanished.
