My Walk Down Rodeo Drive

Just the other day when I was walking
down Rodeo drive,
I couldn't believe my eyes. It was him
and he was so handsome in person.
I just saw him in a movie and to my
surprise he was staring right at me.
I didn't know whether to faint or say hello.
With the most masculine voice he said
" I'm Will, what's your name beautiful lady?"
" Alexis I think". He invited me to lunch that
same day.And from that day on we've
been inseparable. I know what you're thinking
but isn't he married? I thought the same thing.
However, he just got a divorce and it only
took thirty minutes.

I struggled with this one for a long time for the contest. It moved in and out of the winners list. Still wishing I had included it - loved the humor - a definite 7.

Hi Andrea, I'm glad you're back. Yes it was for the tall tale con test . Wouldn't it be something if it were true. I enjoyed your tall tale entry by the way, I laughed really hard when I finished reading it. Your title alone compelled me to read it. I appreciate that you stopped by:-) Alexis

That is wonderful dearest Alexis, the problem though with those who can get a divorce in thirty minutes they could repeat it with the same speed! haha! Nice writing!
