My Virtual Winter Experience
Chocolate hills now blanketed by snow*
Hinder crystals from their cascading flow
As water falls freeze for a vibrant glow
With wondrous icy displays of great show.
Winter’s beauty is magnificent sight
Since nature displays grandeur of pure white
Elegantly covering greens, once bright
Since heaven showers blessings of delight.
Midst attacking coldness** that does assail
Sparks of fireplace still serenely prevail
Though chills cleave despite thick sweater and veil
Fellowship’s love, grace and warmth never fail.
*Job 37:6 For he (God) saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth…
**I live in the Tropics where there is no Winter Season. However, my family resides in one of the coldest provinces of our country, and we wear thick jackets to combat coldness from December to February.
