My Valentine Poem To You
St.Valentine’s Day is a day of remembrance
For those we hold very dear
You are my Valentine, my sweetheart
Come, let me hold you so close, so near
My love for you has grown
In such a very short time
Writing love songs together
You’ve become my one true Valentine.
You really are my sweetheart
You’re loving in so many ways
Totally gentle and caring
My heart this always sways.
It’s your words of love and tenderness
That others cannot see
That have taken hold of my heart
This heart once carefree
I thought I’d walk this life alone
At least until the end
But then you walked into my days
Love songs my heart to send
Those very love songs
We co-wrote together
Have opened up my heart to you
My one true Valentine lover.
