My Valentine Flame

Surrounded by the flame of my desire
Amidst dancing shades of orange and blue
My soul emits the warmth of a glowing fire
My hearts energy still connected to you

With purpose and passion
We began our new life
Not always in fashion
You made me your wife

There's been laughter and tears
Throughout the many years
Some conquered fear
Others that steadfastly adhere

I have seen how love can morph
With nowhere else to go
Emotions that dwindle and dwarf
When couples refuse to grow

If that should happen in our case
I will always pray for grace
That I may keep an attitude
of nothing but sincere gratitude

I cannot believe no one has commented! This is beautiful, an enchanting and upbeat love richly delivered in each stanza. Love the content, the rhyme and the flow! Hugs ... CayCay

No, not at all. It is the nature of Soup. People read, even favor or follow without making comments. I shall never understand it, but it happens to the majority of us. Some believe that to be read complete with comments, one must read and comment. That is what you must try. BUT never, ever believe it is anything you did, it is not about you, it is about SOUP. k? All the best ... CayCay
