My Valentine
My Valentine, my one true love
An angel sent from God above
Caressing me with your embrace
Filling my heart with loving grace
My wish is to return to you
This joyful bliss you desire too
You brush the harshness from my mind
With gentle touch and words so kind
Gazing into your eyes of blue
My heart beats fast with hope anew
That one day soon we will marry
To this end I shall not tarry
I’ll stand by you through good and bad
And cheer you up when you feel sad
For you’re the sunshine in my life
The one I want to be my wife
If life should deal us lemons sour
We shall look to higher power
For God is watching every day
To guide us through and light the way
Since meeting you my life’s been blessed
By far and wide you are the best
Being with you gives me such pleasure
My sweet love, my joy, my treasure
