My Truths
I heard beauty hides behind eyes,
Under the ugly disguise of the flawed skin,
As the storms dim us slowly, we realise our sins;
I heard that my ancestors believe me more than them,
But I keep losing myself often,
Through my veins run answers to mysteries I cannot comprehend;
What a disappointment- not being able to uphold the constitution,
Truth, patience , love are what I believe are universal lies,
Hatred, will be my acquaintance when I die;
Dear family, don't hope through me,
I have been carried away by the eternity of misery;
You question my eyes but they keep lying to survive,
Survive in this meaningless blind world,
I gave up, searching peace throughout my life.
