My Truest Thoughts
I thank God for everyday that I have been blessed to see
I am also thankful for what I have grown to be
I am thankful for everything I have had and have lost
I have no debt to society cause I have paid that cost
I am thankful for the blessings I count and receive
Though I don't see God it's not hard to believe
Though I see the marvelous things he created
I am oh so blessed everyday that I made it
The journey has been long but yet I endure
And still I ask questions, when I feel I'm not sure
When life is full of ups, it often brings downs
